# 飴色塗装店 (AMEIROPAINT)

> キャンディペイントを専門とする日本のカスタムペイントショップ。全てハンドメイドで制作。奈良県生駒市。

## 概要

飴色塗装店（アメイロトソウテン）は、奈良県生駒市に拠点を置くカスタムペイント専門店です。
キャンディペイントをメインに、バイク・ヘルメット・小物類など塗料の乗るものであれば何でもハンドメイドで塗装を行っています。
代表者はSATORU HATANO（波多野 聡）が一人で全ての作業を行っています。

## キャンディペイントとは

飴玉のように透き通った色合いが特徴のカスタムペイント手法。半透明なキャンディカラーを使用し、色を重ねることで奥深い輝きを表現します。
通常、メタリック・フレークにカラークリアーを吹き付けて仕上げます。

当店では2色以上のキャンディカラーを重ねた状態を「AMEIROPAINT」と呼んでいます。

### キャンディペイントの特徴
- 濃度や塗膜厚で色を調整する
- 混色をすると濁るため、色を「重ねる」技法を使う
- 光の当たり具合で色の表情が変化する
- 下地の色や重ね回数で同じカラーでも世界に唯一の仕上がりになる
- バイクパーツやヘルメットなど丸いものは陰影もペイントの一部となる

### 品質へのこだわり（魅力を引き出す3つ）
1. **キャンディカラーへの一手間**：同色でも濃さ・下地・技法で色味を変える
2. **見切り段差を円滑に**：ステッカーを貼ったような仕上がりにならないよう段差を処理
3. **鏡面処理**：塗り肌を研き落とし、コンパウンドで鏡面仕上げ

### デメリット
補修塗装が不可能に近い（特にAMEIROPAINT）。色合わせが困難なため、キャンディペイントの特性として理解が必要。

- **キャンディペイント / AMEIROPAINT**：メイン技法。フレーク+キャンディカラーの重ね塗り
- **フレーク（ラメ）ペイント**：ウルトラミニ(U) / ミニ(M) / フレーク(F) の3サイズから選択可
- **ラップペイント**：乾く前にラップを使い模様を付ける技法。同じ模様は二度と出来ない
- **クリスタルペイント**：結晶化塗料を使用。気温・湿度・足付けで模様が変化
- **サンドブラスト タトゥー**：アルミ素材の地を生かした塗装法
- **リーフ（箔）ペイント**：ゴールドリーフ・シルバーリーフなどの箔を使った塗装
- **エアブラシ**：グラフィック・ロゴ等

すべて税込。料金の考え方：基本料金 + 状態（¥0〜） + グラフィック（予算に合わせて）

### 基本料金に含まれるもの
下地処理・ベースカラー（ソリッドorメタリック＋キャンディカラー1色、またはウルトラミニフレーク＋キャンディカラー1色）・クリアーコート・鏡面仕上げ。
軽いキズや小さな凹みなどパテ処理で対応可能な範囲の下地補修も含む。本格的な板金作業が必要な場合は別途料金。

### フレークサイズと価格の関係
- **U（ウルトラミニフレーク）**：極細目。落ち着いた「キラキラ」感。最安値
- **M（ミニフレーク）**：細目。当店一番人気。色合いと輝きの両立「ギラギラ」感
- **F（フレーク）**：粗目。派手な「ギンギラギン」。最高値
- ソリッドカラー・メタリックカラーはU（ウルトラミニフレーク）と同額

使用塗料：HOUSE of KOLOR社（キャンディカラー・フレーク）、Roth Flake社（Lil'フレーク）

**波多野 聡（ハタノ サトル）**　1975年生まれ

京都精華大学芸術学部デザイン学科卒業後、FRP立体造形業の塗装班にて樹脂成形・塗装の基礎を習得。その後独学でカスタムペイントを学び独立。独立から10年以上。

**資格・免許**：大型自動二輪免許、有機溶剤取扱主任、危険物乙種4類

# Ameiro Paint Shop (Candy Paint) — English

> A Japanese custom paint shop specializing in candy paint. All work is handmade. Located in Ikoma, Nara, Japan.

## About

Ameiro Paint Shop is a custom paint specialist based in Ikoma, Nara, Japan.
We specialize in candy paint and handle everything by hand — motorcycles, helmets, small parts, and anything else that can be painted.
All work is performed personally by the owner, SATORU HATANO.

**International orders are welcome. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.**

## What is Candy Paint?

Candy paint is a custom painting technique characterized by a translucent, candy-like depth of color. Semi-transparent candy colors are layered over a base to create rich, luminous results.
Typically applied over metallic or flake bases with a color clear coat.

When two or more candy colors are layered, we call it "AMEIROPAINT" — our signature technique.

### Characteristics
- Color is controlled by concentration and coat thickness
- Colors are layered, not mixed, to avoid muddiness
- Appearance shifts with the angle and quality of light
- Every piece is one-of-a-kind depending on base color and number of coats
- On curved surfaces like tanks and helmets, the object's own shadows become part of the finish

### Our Quality Standards
1. **Extra care with candy color**: Same color reads differently depending on density, base, and technique
2. **Smooth color transitions**: Masking edges are leveled so the finish never looks like a sticker
3. **Mirror finish**: Surface texture is sanded down and polished to a full reflection

### Limitations
Touch-up painting is nearly impossible (especially with AMEIROPAINT). This is an inherent characteristic of candy paint and should be understood before ordering.

## Paint Techniques

- **Candy Paint / AMEIROPAINT**: Core technique. Flake + layered candy color
- **Flake (Glitter) Paint**: Three sizes — Ultra Mini (U) / Mini (M) / Flake (F)
- **Wrap Paint**: Pattern made with plastic wrap before paint dries. No two results are alike
- **Crystal Paint**: Crystallizing paint coat. Pattern varies with temperature, humidity, and surface prep
- **Sandblast Tattoo**: Technique utilizing raw aluminum surface
- **Leaf (Foil) Paint**: Gold leaf, silver leaf, and other metallic foils
- **Airbrush**: Graphics, logos, illustrations

## What We Paint

### Motorcycles
American-style bikes are our specialty, but naked bikes and sport replicas are welcome too.
From 50cc mini bikes to full-size Harleys.
Individual parts (tank, fender, side cover, fork, etc.) accepted.

Brands we have worked with: Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and more.

### Helmets
Half and jet-style helmets are our main focus. Full-face helmets also accepted.

### Other Items
Anything that can be painted.
Examples: car parts (fuel cap, hood panel), bag accessories, emblems, spring kits, battery covers, license plate stays, etc.

## Pricing

All prices include Japanese consumption tax (tax-inclusive).
Pricing formula: **Base price + Condition surcharge (¥0–) + Graphics (based on budget)**

### What's Included in the Base Price
Surface prep, base coat (solid or metallic + 1 candy color, or ultra mini flake + 1 candy color), clear coat, and mirror finish.
Minor scratches and small dents that can be addressed with body filler are included. Structural panel work is quoted separately.

### Flake Size and Pricing
- **U (Ultra Mini Flake)**: Finest grain. Subtle "sparkling" effect. Lowest price
- **M (Mini Flake)**: Medium grain. Most popular. Balances color depth and shine. "Glittering" effect
- **F (Flake)**: Coarse grain. Bold, high-impact finish. "Blazing" effect. Highest price
- Solid and metallic colors are priced the same as U

## About the Artist

**Satoru Hatano** — Born 1975

Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Art, Design Department. After graduation, joined an FRP molding company where he was assigned to the paint division, learning the fundamentals of resin molding and finishing. Subsequently self-taught in custom paint techniques. Over 10 years since going independent.

**Licenses**: Heavy motorcycle license, Organic solvent handling supervisor, Hazardous materials handler Class B Type 4
